For occupational disciplines, a combination of education and/or experience is required to qualify. A faculty may qualify with any of the following:
- Five years of occupational experience in the field to be taught OR
- Three years of occupational experience in the field to be taught and a Bachelor’s degree of higher OR
- A Master’s degree or higher in the teaching field OR
- A Master’s degree of higher in any field with 18 graduate credits in the teaching field
Any bachelors degree
Any masters or higher level courses
Any documentation demonstrating experience with occupational or educational programming, or experience with incarceration or probation.
Successful instruction for this course includes experience with job skills instruction, occupational or educational experience. Specific emphasis placed on offender populations and experience with incarceration or probation are benefits.
