For occupational disciplines, a combination of education and/or experience is required to qualify. A faculty may qualify with any of the following:
- Five years of occupational experience in the field to be taught OR
- Three years of occupational experience in the field to be taught and a Bachelor’s degree of higher OR
- A Master’s degree or higher in the teaching field OR
- A Master’s degree of higher in any field with 18 graduate credits in the teaching field

Employment verification of full or part-time experience in the field.
These documents are needed to evaluate the depth/breadth of their training/education in the field.
Experience that comes from working in the field and recommendations from employers in the field are required to provide the total hours of experience and in what specific areas of yoga.

Certificate of Completion: Yoga Instruction from SCC or other acceptable certifications from accrediting institutions.
Yoga Teaching certification, 200 hr.
It is well established in the industry that Yoga instructors require a certification to be qualified to teach.
